Anyone think Mickelson has a chance to win this week? I think this is the perfect course for him and he badly needs a win.

JMoney,

I am waiting until the Tour gets to Torrey Pines ( Feb 9 ) to consider a Mickelson wager. Reasons :

....It was his home course growing up

....He has won twice there coming off winless seasons

....We'll know by then if he is keeping his tee shots in play.Let's see how often the announcers say he is hitting 3 wood off the tee this weekend. If he is commited to keeping the ball in the fairway that will tell us. He has said that he will consider that strategy this season. If all of the above works out he should be a real good bet in San Diego.

Not sure what to make of Mickelson this year. I think I am going to take a wait and see approach with him for now. Too many things that are unknown.

nice call Jmoney,

You were right is the perfect course, courses. Phil is best 150 and in player ever. I was on him large +145 after friday and +165 after Saturday, popped him again -180 in the playoff. Phil was FAR from his best and still won

Thanks for the support railbird, I wish I had put more down on him, but no one else appeared to like him to win. Hope to trade more opinions for the rest of the golf season.
